Everything you need to know
about LVT fitting.
Luxury vinyl tiles combine the look of natural materials with serious durability. Here's what's involved in getting them fitted properly.
What does LVT fitting involve?
LVT (luxury vinyl tile) can be fitted using click-lock, glue-down or loose-lay methods depending on the product and the subfloor. The subfloor needs to be smooth, dry and level — any imperfections will telegraph through the tiles over time.
For glue-down LVT, a smoothing compound is often applied first to create a perfectly flat surface. Click-lock LVT is faster to install and can float over most existing hard floors, making it a popular choice for rooms where speed matters.
Every job includes door bars and trims as standard for a clean, finished look.
